Pleated-Type Disposable Pre-Filter
Filtgard Pleated-Type Disposable Pre-Filter is manufactured using high quality synthetic media blend which provides medium ASHRAE performance and high dust loading capacity.
The frame is made from two mating pieces of die cut fiber board bonded together to form a solid, double wall around the entire outer edge of the filter.
The media pack is bonded to the die cut frame at all points of contact – around the edges of the pleat pack and at each point where the pleat tips touch the die cut support members on both sides.
An expanded metal grid is laminated to the air leaving side of the media to form the pleats and hold their shape even under turbulent conditions. Consistent pleat shape reduces resistance and allows uniform dirt loading over the entire face of the filter.
